Listening is an act of courage.
The ability to be present with whatever is, comforting or discomforting, and without an agenda or a pre-programed response. The truth is that we listen better to what feels right to us, and to what we can agree with, rather than disagree. How do we show up, be present and take it all in? How do we learn to remove the filters that block listening? How do we learn to be brave and get rid of judgement?
When we learn to listen, we can see one another anew, find truth and develop empathy and compassion.
